TEWT built and started Jamia Abdullah Ibn Mas’ood (JAIM) in 2011 off the local mosque premises on a part-time basis, to provide basic religious education to local school-going children free of cost. In 2014, it has moved to its own dedicated place (on lease), with a boarding/hostel facility – also free of cost, to local and of-of-town students. Currently, we have about 25 students doing full-time Qur’an HIFZ (memorization) while learning other secular subjects for few hours every day. At JAIM, we envision reviewing its system, adding newer syllabi and curricula to meet other secular educational needs.
